95 and Staying Alive ❤️

Today marks the 95th post for Soul Spark LLC.

Tomorrow, I start with my first official local client!

Soon, I’ll be cooking more in the kitchen than online.

But first—I want to thank you, the readers, for sharing your time. I hope I’ve helped shed a little more light in your life. 🙏🏽

I’ve realized that the hardest part isn’t writing about my missteps, mistakes, and misunderstandings…

It’s starting.

As I used to lovingly taunt my gym adversaries:

I’m at 95 reps—where you at?! 😎💪🏽

I began 2025 thinking maybe I could pull off one blog a month.

Then I thought, well, maybe one a week. My goal was 50 for the year.

But once I let go of doubt, ideas started flowing daily.

I guess my kids were right…

I am a yapper. 🤓😬

Anyway, I’ve learned that discipline is built through small steps.

I’ve learned that showing up is the secret.

🏀 You make a bigger difference by running on the court than sitting in the stands.

❌ There were days I didn’t know what to write.

❌ Days I didn’t want to work out.

❌ Days I didn’t feel like walking the dogs.

✅ But I stayed at my desk with my blue-light-blocking glasses and no ideas.

✅ I showed up at the gym in jeans and a polo.

✅ I hit the park in slippers, with my dogs on leash.

Staying alive in your progress requires consistent micro-steps. 🌟

So I leave you with this:

What are your steps to overcome the inertia—the resistance—to doing what you know you’re meant to do?

The energy required is always highest at the start—whether it’s opening a door, starting a habit, or stepping into a new environment.

One friend told me they’d force a smile when it was time for a run.

That one smile got the shoes on.

That was the step.

I can tell you from experience:

It’s not easy.

But it’s always possible.

And it’s forever rewarding.

Do it especially when it feels uncomfortable and difficult.

Because at the end—just like after a long run—Nuri the engineer guarantees:

You’ll be thankful. 🤓💯

So wherever you are—whether you’re sitting on an idea, a treadmill, or the edge of a new chapter—just take the step.

Don’t wait for inspiration. Be the spark.

Tell yourself: you’re staying alive in your journey.

That headwind you feel? That resistance?

Just like a plane—it means you’re lifting off. ✈️

Here’s to rep #95, to "another one", and to whatever “step” looks like for you today.

I’m rooting for you. Always. 🙌🏽
